Five Foods that Increase the Sexual Desire

Many people, men and women, experience libido problems and sometime their sexual desire is really low. There are many synthetic products available on the market, but nature has taken care of this problem, providing us with some natural foods that increase the sexual desire. Here are five of them:

Celery is a great way to sexually stimulate yourself or your partner. This food contains androsterone – a hormone that males release as they perspire. Women easily get aroused by this hormone. In order to experience the full benefits, celery should be consumed raw.

2. Raw oysters
Oysters are classic aphrodisiacs and sexual boosters. They are rich in zinc – a compound that increases the sperm count and the production of testosterone. Also, they contain dopamine which is a hormone that increases the sexual desire.

3. Bananas
Bananas are high in an enzyme called bromelain that has the ability to increase sexual desire and to treat male impotence. Also, they contain potassium and different B vitamins which stimulate the body and energize it.

4. Avocado
The Aztecs used to call this plant “testicle tree”. Avocados contain lots of folic acid that provides the body with energy. In addition, there are high levels of vitamin B6 which enhances the production of hormones in men, as well as two elements that are very helpful for boosting the libido in men and women.

5. Almonds
Almonds are rich in some essential fatty acids and are a source of raw material used by male bodies to produce hormones. Some research proved that the smell of almonds turns women on.
