School is back in session. Some groups of girls spend time at night planning what they will wear to class the next day, others simply throw on the same types of athletic shorts and sports logo t-shirts that they have been wearing all summer. Some groups of boys also spend a good deal of time planning their wardrobes for the best back to school look, often going for a look that appears to have taken no thought at all. Other students are decked out in school uniforms or dress clothes mandated by coaches showing their attention to tonight’s big game.
And while the outfits that students wear to school on those days of class may vary, one thing never changes. Teenagers across the country, and some adults as well, fear that no matter how perfectly or casually they have selected their clothing, no one will be able to get past the acne on their face. For just as the excitement and stress of a new year of classes causes anxious nerves in some, that same excitement and stress can cause a break out of epic proportions when it is least wanted.
Is Acne Keeping You from Looking Your Best?
Unfortunately, by the time they are in the middle of their teenage years, more than 40% of teenagers have acne or acne scarring. And while some families struggle from one store bought treatment to another, other families make the decision to visit a skin specialist or dermatologist. From these visits, acne sufferers may be given private label acne pads that are pretreated single dose cleansers that can be far more effective than over the counter generic brands.
Although acne often begins in puberty, patients of all ages can suffer from it. Whether you are in your 20s, 30s, 40s, or 50s, persistent acne can cause scarring and embarrassment. The decision to see a doctor about acne means that you are among the 40 million to 50 million patients who suffer from the most common skin disorder in the U.S.
Could Private Label Skin Care for Spas Help You Look Your Best?
Even if you do not suffer from acne, you may still benefit from the private label skin care for spas that many doctors sell. Unfortunately, for many skin is the one part of our body that is too often over looked and too often ages us more than we would like. Private label skin care for spas and other specialty locations, however, can provide significant protection. And unlike skin products that are sold in large retail stores, professional skin care lines are often offered as samples so that patients have an opportunity to try the product before purchasing. Used as a supplemental income for doctors, these products are most often organic products made with the highest quality ingredients.
For some patients, the most effective skin care products that they need are sunscreens and other anti-aging lotions. With the recent news about widely distributed retail store sunscreens causing harmful effects to young children, the comfort of knowing that a doctor backs a particular product can be important. And wile many retail store products are heavily fragranced, many private label skin care for spas is not. Made from organic chemicals with no artificial ingredients, private label lotions and skin medications often cause fewer rashes and other allergic reactions.
The main purpose of a sun screen product, obviously, is to protect skin from dangerous UV rays. In fact, even on a cloudy day, UV radiation from the sun still reaches the Earth’s surface. A gentle, but effective daily sunscreen reapplied every two hours, as well as after swimming or sweating, provides the most protection.
In addition to protecting skin from dangerous UV rays, some doctors also recommend applying an overall lotion to protect skin from the increasingly polluted atmosphere. Everyday air pollution, even the pollution from traffic, can increase pigment or age spots by as much as 20%. With time, these pollutants can also lead to deep lines and wrinkles in unprotected skin.
Patients who care about their skin often look for lotions and screens that provide protection but are not full of non-organic ingredients. For these patients, private label skin care products are often the best answer.
