Lower back pain can be alleviated by performing special exercises. The YouTube video “How to Fix Your Lower Back Pain for Good” illustrates several exercises for fixing lower back pain.
You can get rid of knots in the lower back area by lying flat over a racquetball or a tennis ball, which is placed beneath the achy muscles beside the spine. A great exercise you can perform in this position is to lift the leg located on the side of the pain and draw it towards the chest. Holding your leg in this position for 10-15 seconds places great pressure on your pain area.
Another great exercise is the snap, crack, and pop. To perform this exercise, first lay both legs flat on the table or floor. Then put one leg over the other and use your opposite hand to rotate and hold the knee of the raised leg. Simultaneously raise your other arm towards the ceiling and rotate your upper body in the opposite direction.
Other effective exercises for lower back treatment include the prone scorpion, the bird dog, and the classic bridge. These exercises strengthen the muscles of the lower back area.
