The diet for treatment of hair loss includes usage of sea vegetables, protein, zinc and silica.

Steaks are known to increase the levels of testosterone which often result in hair loss. You can find protein in eggs, nuts, seeds, beans and fish, so include all these foods in your daily diet.

According to numerous studies zinc deficiency is one of the reasons for male hair loss. Good sources of zinc are oysters, crab, lobster, almonds, yoghurt, oatmeal, chick peas, etc. You can also increase the levels of zinc by the usage of zinc supplements.

Silica is a mineral that makes collagen stronger. Collagen is associated with hair growth and can enhance this process. Silica can be found in dark green leafy vegetables, tomatoes, figs, onions, flax seeds, apples and grapes.
