Everyone has experienced headaches in their life. We all know that sometimes the pain is unbearable and no drugs help for its relief. Here is a list of some natural herbal remedies that may be useful for treatment of headaches.
The most commonly used herb is feverfew. A tea of two to eight leaves will be enough for effective tea. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should not use feverfew.
Temporal headaches can be treated with ginger paste applied to the forehead and sinuses. Occipital headaches are sooth with tea made of cumin and coriander seeds, combined with the application of sandalwood paste to the temples. Sinus headaches are often an indication of toxins in the colon. Such headaches can be treated with a teaspoon of flax seed at bedtime taken with a glass of warm milk.
