Many Americans are often under the impression that in order to get a diagnosis on a bone injury, they have to visit an actual hospital, versus a medical walk-in clinic. Hospitals can cumbersome, which means a patient could be there longer than he or she had anticipated. They can also be expensive. Urgent Care clinics are not as crowded, so a patient can quickly get a proper X-ray service, without much hassle. Moreover, 85% of urgent care centers are open 24 hours and seven days a week; lastly, X-ray services have an assortment of uses for everyone.

X-ray services are commendable for common occurrences
Many people may need X-ray services and not even realize it. For example, studies show dizziness to be the second most common symptom that individuals lament about, while at the doctor’s office. Furthermore, this incident will occur in 70% of America’s population. More than likely, the general American population does not want to visit a hospital for a mere brain scan. They may not be aware that an urgent care center provides the same X-ray services to that of a hospital. Dizziness is a minor issue, so people neglect to look into it. Although it may seem harmless, dizziness can cause fatal problems. Again, they may have a concussion. It can also cause someone to pass out, to be more specific, which is not safe. That’s why it’s crucial to get a proper diagnosis, as soon as it happens.

Baby Boomers should consider annual doctor visits
In 2030, 60% percent of Baby Boomers will have to deal with some sort of chronic condition. This is possibly a result of Baby Boomers not going to the doctor regularly. Studies estimate 40% of people suffering from long-term low back pain do not see a physical therapist or that of a doctor. Reports also confirm one out of ten Baby Boomers have a limited amount of physical activity. It is best if they receive physical therapy or x-ray services as soon as possible. It’s not only beneficial to them healthwise, but it is also less costly as well. According to a study, patients that receive physical therapy for lower back pain, got their medical cost lowered by $2,736.23. Chances are it may be a bit cheaper if they visit a free clinic.

Whether it’s a broken wrist or a fractured finger, there’s no need to rack up ER bills. An urgent care clinic can provide X-ray services to you for most any issue, and at a lowered cost.
